About TVGEP
I’m RadeonChan. This site is the written home for my excavations, alongside The Video Game Excavation Project on YouTube.
The articles connect the discovery to its evidence. That might mean a few bytes in a script, an audio comparison, or a controlled test of a recovered debug menu. The aim is to make the result peer-reviewable.
How this publication works
Section titled “How this publication works”TVGEP is an independently edited publication. Articles are maintained as text files with version history.
All posted content follows the editorial standards as outlined here.
Artwork credits
Section titled “Artwork credits”The banner and profile artwork were created in GIMP by RadeonChan using photographs by Carol M. Highsmith from the Carol M. Highsmith Archive, Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division:
- Banner: Computer training room.
- Profile: School computer lab.
Both catalog records state “No known restrictions on publication.” The color treatments, scanline effects, and banner lettering belong to the TVGEP adaptations; these are not unmodified archival photographs.
The TVGEP header uses Perfect DOS VGA 437 Win, by Zeh Fernando. Its supplied license permits use and redistribution and prohibits selling the font. Segoe UI is used where installed on the reader’s system, with fallback fonts elsewhere.
Game page headings and card titles use Days One, by Jovanny Lemonad, distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The font is hosted by this site.
The site’s glass and lighting effects are built with CSS. No AI-generated art assets are used.
